Vets and vet practice staff - help improve the Veterinary Medicines Directorate’s Special Imports Service

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate is upgrading the Special Imports Service (SIS) website to improve the service and meet accessibility legislation. Our work will benefit hugely from the views of vets and vet practice staff. We need input from veterinarians and other vet practice staff who:

  • use the current Special Imports Service
  • search for medicines not available in the UK
  • handle import certificates or
  • may need to use the SIS in the future.

We would like to speak to you or a colleague for around 40 minutes, at any time of the day that suits you. 

We appreciate that COVID-19 is disrupting vet businesses and leaves you with little free time. If you would like to be involved or want more information contact importcert@vmd.gov.uk.
