APHA hosts Surveillance in Extensively Managed Livestock Conference

In July 2016, APHA held its first conference to discuss issues faced in monitoring the health and welfare of extensively managed livestock.

It brought together stakeholders from government, industry, veterinary practice, retail and academia to share information and develop collaborative ways of working.

It was also an opportunity for ideas and contributions to be made into the development of the Centre of Expertise for extensively managed livestock, based at Carmarthen Veterinary Investigation Centre.

The full report from the conference is now available.
