8. For cattle movements directly from Northern Ireland into the Low TB Area of Wales, the government-funded post-import TB test acts as the post-movement test. APHA staff will send letters to the cattle keepers to advise that the imported cattle must not move off the holding before they have been TB tested (unless the movement is exempt from these requirements) and to schedule a Post Irish Import (PII) test to take place 60 to 120 days after the date of import.
